So with filming underway on Captain America: New World Order and starting soon on Thunderbolts … has anyone got eyes on Daniel Brühl? 👀
I would bet money that Zemo will be in Thunderbolts. If they can keep Liv Tyler’s return a secret until she showed up on the CA4 set, they can for Brühl, too.

This makes me worried that the new writer is going to retool the script to put more focus on Steven Yeun’s mystery character at the expense of the originally announced Thunderbolts. I say this because he and the director worked with Yeun in the upcoming show, Beef.
Don’t get me wrong, I am huge a fan of Yeun, can’t wait to see him in Beef, but he is not the reason I am tuning in to Thunderbolts. I will be heartbroken if Bucky gets relegated to a glorified cameo again!

David Harbour talks about Stranger Things and Thunderbolts at Middle East Comic Con (March 2023). He does not leak any spoilers, but he does describe the Thunderbolts story as “trippy and fun,” says his relationship with Yelena will be a big part of his role, and that he is looking forward to filming scenes with Wyatt Russell/John Walker.
